Suggestions/questions on EVisa

Hi all,

I just got my US passport and I have not yet taken care of renunciation. I do not think I have time to apply for OCI or regular visa. Can I apply for E-Visa? What is the experience of traveling to India on E-Visa via Europe?

I'm in the same boat..just posted a question in this thread..I just got my citizenship & have applied for passport..I don't think I will get my OCI for my travel in Feb..Asper the eligibility criteria seems like I do qualify but looking for confirmation.
