Hi:
I am traveling to India with my 2 kids in May, for a couple of weeks.
My older child and I both have Valid PIOs. Question:
1) Can we both still travel with the PIO? I have not had time to convert to OCI.
2) If we cannot travel with the PIO, can we get the eVisa instead, since we do not have time to get the PIO converted to an OCI? Or is there some kind of rule that says you cannot get eVisa if you previously had held a PIO?
3) If we *can* travel with the PIO, my older daughter's passport expired last month, so she has a new passport. Can she travel with the old passport, the new passport and the PIO (which was issued against the old passport)?
4) My younger child has not been to India and does not have a PIO or an OCI. Because I am traveling to India in the next 60 days, I would like to get her an eVisa online instead of going the OCI route. Is that acceptable to do, even though I am traveling with a PIO?
Thanks!!!
