Hi ,
I had personally submitted my son?s application at Houston CKGS office for OCI in lieu of PIO card. At the time of submission, I took the original PIO card with me, the lady at CKGS office saw it and said they dont need it. Now, after 3 weeks of submission, I have got an email from CKGS asking to submit the original PIO card. They have not asked for passport, so its not match up process.
My question is Has anyone else gone through the process of OCI in lieu of PIO at Houston let me know if this is normal process?
Also the email does not mention if I can go personally to submit the PIO card, it only says submit by post. Does that mean i cannot go personally to submit the original PIO card?
