  • Queries regarding applying for OCI Card for Kid in Bangalore

    Hello All
I need to apply for OCI card for my minor son (4.5 years), who holds a PIO till now. We are currently based out of Bangalore. Can someone please help on how to apply for it, documents required? I think the deadline is already crossed, but I guess its never too late.

How many days normally it takes to get the OCI card?

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Sandip

      Hello
      Thanks so much for replying.

      1) I need to submit the forms online and upload self attested copies of supporting document in the system.

      2) For the verification, do I need to personally visit a FRRO center or I have to send the Originals by post/courier? Isn't risky to send passports, all originals thru post

      3) Birth Certificate of Kid - it says ' birth certificate' has to be apostled or endorsed by the concerned Indian Mission abroad? what does this mean, I dont think I have endorsed the certificate from any indian mission

      Thanks again
