How to Take Thumb Impression for a Baby on OCI application

If anyone has taken a thumb impression for a baby on the OCI application form, please let me know how they have done..

u can buy stamp pad at staples for 3 or 4 dollors...and just press ur baby thumb to it and later press on signature place where ever required...i have done that for pio...so same for alll...

Is the ink pad from staples kid-safe? The reason I am asking is the baby tends to put its thumb into the mouth, and since some of these inks are difficult to wash off, I want to make sure it is safe for kids.

There are pads available where the ink will not stick to the fingers.
