I am Indian passport holder residing in USA. My passport was last renewed in Houston 10 yrs back , it is now expiring on 05/10/2019, which is guess is in dd/mm/yyyy format, is that correct. I read that one can apply for pp renewal as early as 1 yr but better to apply 1.5 months before expiry, to avoid long delays. I also understand that we cannot travel with pp that will expire in next 6 months.Please advise the right time to renew. Thanks
