Hoping to get any suggestions or insight about my situation.
I applied for OCI and got rejected due to my current job title. (I work for a government agency with security responsibilities). I wasn't aware of this limitation. I plan to resign from this job in the future. Will I be able to apply for OCI once I leave from the service and get it approved or did I get on some type of list in the Indian consulate's database that would bar me from ever getting the OCI?
Any suggestions or opinion would be great. I was so looking forward to some time spend in India in the future.
