ECNR requirement

I might go to Shangai from India for an official Trip in November 2007. I don't have a degree right now. I am doing my graduation.
Please let me know if I need the ECNR or not. What documents shoulfd I attach with my passport.

My wife's passport was issued this month in Hyderabad, but it does not have an ECNR stamp in the passport.
Also my children's passport which was issued in Jan 2007 does not have an ECNR stamp.
Iam working in Oman and my family will be joining me next month. Is it necessary to have an ECNR stamp in their passports?

Now a days, no stamp means ECNR.

If you are ECR, there will be a stamp for that.
