Passport Query

My mum’s British passport is due to expire shortly & has been informed that before renewing the passport, she can apply for a dual passport for Britain & India. Can you advise if this can be done, or what her options are in terms of passport/visa’s?

India does not allow dual citizenship. Read /oci-card/
