Very Urgent!!! going back to India next month -- need pio card

I have applied a PIO card for my son in Sanfransisco counsulate.
I will be going back to India next month.

I have exactly 30 days to go.

Is there any way , I can expedite it ,if it doesn't come thru in this period ?

Please share your experience regarding this.

Did you get your PIO? I am also waiting for pio from sfo consulate. I have exactly 20 more days to travel. Please let me know your status. Thanks.

Call consulate or get 6 month visa

The best you can do is either visit or call consulate. Regretfully they won't be much helpful, but you have to be politely persuasive with them.

You'll need to make a few attempts before you get through anywhere. Don't let frustration get in the way.

Do remember that there are a lot of holidays coming up, do check the calendar.

Lastly, you can just go there and get a 6 month visa which will help you visit India and return to the US by which your PIO card should be available.
