whats differnce between PIO and OCI.
I want to remain US citizen and NOT take dual citizenship, so if I get PIO does it mean I get dual citzenship?
or is it the OCI which gives dual citzenship?
or getting indian visa is the best option for me in this case?

Neither PIO nor OCI give dual citizenship. OCI gives "overseas citizenship" which is a type of permanent residence. Even with OCI, you would still enter India on your US passport.

Neither PIO nor OCI would have any effect at all on your US status.

My preference is OCI, it's for lifetime, excellent process control by the Home Ministry of India and not too expensive either.
