Sir,
I am a retired Asst Officer of S.Rly, India , drawing pension and relief as usual. Presently my son and his family who are at the US for a long period have become US citizens. By considering my old age and poor health condition they want me to stay with them in the US permanently duly getting US Citizenship. I too feel it to be good for my old age ( 74 ) and ill-health. But my wife has to be at India due to our other family constraints. So I have to decide on the matter only after knowing whether my pension benefits will be affected or not, in case I get the U.S. Citizenship and also OCI.
Kindly therefore, enlighten me the legal implications if get the U.S citizenship and OCI as mentioned above urgently.
