  • Place of Birth on Passport

    Dear sir,

I'm applying for visitor visa for my parents. I don't have original birth certificate.

The Place of Birth on my Leaving certificate is "Mota Panchdevda" (Village where my parents live). My Father used to write my place of birth in schools as "Mota Panchdevda" and that's how I got it on my School Leaving certificate.

The problem I have is the Place of Birth on my passport. Because my parents used to tell me that I was born in Rajkot (mother's city) and that's how I put "Rajkot" when applying for my Passport (by mistake).

I have only these two documents and really don't have original Birth Certificate. My father say's he registered my birth in my village "Mota Panchdevda". So even if I can obtain the birth certificate as shown on your website, It is not going to match with the passport's place of birth that is "Rajkot".

Please help. Your help would be really helpful to me.

    Thanks in advance,
