Passport renewal

Daer Sir/Ma'am,

I am a resident of Bhangarpar, Cachar, Assam, INDIA, was issued a passport foin 2005 of 5 years validity to be
expired in September 2010. Now if I want to extend the validity to a
full term of 10 years, what should I do? How long will it take? I am
still living in India.
