Citizenship?

I have a couple of questions for you and will appreciate if you can reply me their answers.
I am here on Green card with my wife & son & now have a daughter who is by birth American Citizenship.
1. When I apply for citizen ship, do I need to apply for my son too (He will be 9-10 years by than)?
2. If my wife does not apply , will that be a problem for my son in becoming a citizen?
3. What do I need for my US born daughter to travel to India?
