Place in Birth Certificate and Place in Passport mismatch from

Hello All,

When I applied my passport I did not have the birth certificate so I had
mentioned the place where I stayed since childhood .Now my parents could get back my birth certificate and the place doesn't match with the one given in the Passport .So will it be a problem when I file my I-485 and if it's a problem please let me know how this could be resolved.

You need to get it changed in the passport.

its been more than 8 yrs that im holding the current passport...the place of birth was kept as the place were i was staying since my childhood as i didnt have the original birth certifcate then...and now i got my original birth certificate..and now can i change the place of birth in my passport...would it be a problem?
