Need Urgent Help on PIO/Indian Visa

I've applied for PIO card for my 4 month old on 23 Jan at SFO consulate and till date I did not receive it. I’m traveling on Mar 15.

1.Suggest whether I should wait for PIO card or go for Visa?

2.What are the chances of getting PIO card before Mar 15?

3.What are the documents required for Visa application?

4.When should I go to Visa office to get the same day visa? ( which day)

5.Will I get the visa on the same day?

6.My travel agent did not give me paper ticket for my kid; in that case will E-ticket print do to show the confirmed ticket?

7.Do I need to take my kid for Visa?

Please advice me on this as this very urgent.

- Where do you live..If you live nearby /india-visa/travisa-outsourcing-locations.html you can get visa in a day or else you can normall get it in 5-7 days. So Plan yourself.

2.What are the chances of getting PIO card before Mar 15?
No Idea..Call the consulate.

3.What are the documents required for Visa application?

yes if you visit the office directly.

Infant ticket is a part of the adult ticket. They dont have a separate ticket. Look at your ticket there should be some reference for your kid.


7.Do I need to take my kid for Visa?
Not sure..others please advise.
