OCI vs 10 year Visa

I'm a US citizen, my husband is an indian citizen (with greencard) and my mom is originally form india with a US citizenship.

We go to indian often, I was going to apply for the 10 year tourist visa then heard about OCI/PIO. Am I even eligiable for OCI or PIO and if so should i get one of these instead of a 10 year visa.
What is the difference, benefits , and drawbacks of visa vs PIO/OCI ?
