Hi,
My baby is 7 weeks old and I have applied for his Birth Certificate and SSN.I am yet to get the Birth Certificate and SSN . Looks like it would take 3 months to get both. I have to go to India for 3 weeks. How can I take my baby without PIOCard and Passport ( as I need his SSN and Birth Certificate) to apply for passport ?
Please let me know as this is urgent.

This is just an idea. Might work, might not. Fix an appointment with Passport Center for urgent passport. Explain them the situation and they might work with birth certi issued by Hospital. Actually I got my daughter's passport in 5 days flat, normal process. And once you get PP, apply for India tourist visa. That you'll get in a day for sure. So if the scheme works, it'll take 5-6 working days. i.e. if it works..

The passport office will not work with you with no BC.

PIO card extened stay in india

Hi,
My son went to India with PIO card. After he finishes 180 days of his stay in India I understand that he need to register with authorities in India. I apprecite if you can help me where to get the letter. What are the documents needed and from which office he has to get registration?? Please help.
