OCI stamping at Houston Consulate.

Dear Friends,
I have my OCI registration approved and delivered to Houson Consulate.

I have question on documents to be taken to consulate in order to pick the OCI in person:

Apart from my passports (US and old Indian) what other documents are needed ?

That's it!

You don't really need to take anything else, except the tracking number.

However, if you have the copies of the application that you sent in, just take that with you and of course the print out of the confirmation with the number that the OCI has arrived at the Houston Consulate.

For the Indian passport, they can "cancel" stamp it and return it to you for a souvenir, really!

OK great. One more question: Do I need to take an appointment at Indian consulate to pick the OCI documents?

Nope ...

... walk in.

If you want to save your time, then mail the passports to them and add the fee for express return.
