Hey.. anyone know how long it takes for a PIO at Washington DC? Mine has been close to 45 days. I need it by mid Nov to go to India. Is there any way to track the progress for PIO. Calling those numbers was no help. Thanks.

I'll answer this one. I don't know if they just got delayed recently.. or if this is standard. I finally got mine from the DC consulate.. after 45 days. -
received pio card today from DC
We applied pio card for my son 1month ago and we received today. You keep calling the embassy, they will respond to our request. They consider if we tell our urgency. We did like that. Call the embassy at 1.30 to 2.00pm or 5.30 to 6.00 pm, they will lift the phone.Comment
