OCI proccessing time

SFO conulate web page says it takes 21 business days, Has anybody done this recently could you please share your exact processing time. I am planning to go to India on March 24 so is it worth the risk?

Processing timings vary all the time. If I were you, I would not depend upon OCI being issued for travel on March 24. Take Indian visa for now.

Thanks for a quick reply. I was trying to see if I can save $120 for myself and my daughter from VISA expense. Every bit counts these days

Apply for OCI. If you get it before March 24th ..

If I were you I would apply for OCI. By chance, if you get it before March 24th you will save $100 else you can go for visitor visa couple of days before 24th.
Atleast you have a small chance.
