Hello,
My mother would like to apply for OCI as she is currently a french national (born in Vietnam) leaving India for past 42 years. Both here parents were born outside France and hence we cannot apply through them. However her grand mother was born on 23.12.1892 in Pondicherry and died on 22.01.1959 in Pondicherry. We have only the death certificate of her grand mother as proof.
Hence I would like to know if she will be eligible for applying for OCI with this proof.
