Eligibility criteria for OCI Card

My first question is which concerned countries are eligible for OCI card.
Second question is if your concerned country does not allow dual citizenship are you still eligible for OCI cards.

I did go to the website below and did not find the answers to my questions. So i will appreciate if you can answer the questions for me.

1. Any country other than Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Thanks for your reply. In regards to the first question i read on some other website that there are only 16 countries which are eligible to get OCI cards. Are you saying that if a person is a citizen of any other country other than pakistan and bangladesh are eligible for OCI.

16 countries is an old information.

We have latest information.

Instead of asking general questions like this, why don't you specify what country are you citizen of? That would make both of our lives easy.

Sorry for going back and forth. I am a citizen of USA.

As per your latest information all the countries except pakistan and bangladesh are eligible for OCI card please clarify and under which section on website i can see that information.

That information is on Read /oci-card/

People who are of Indian and Citizen of US are eligibile for OCI. (US was included in that list of 16 countries also.)

And US allows dual citizenship.
