New passport has no ECNR stamp

I have been holding Indian passport since 1980 with Immigration status "Immigration check not Required" Last year, I changed my name and applied for a passport and was issued passport on 5/6/2008. The new passport does not have the 'ECNR status not required' stamped and
I came to know about this only today. I am travelling to the UK from March 14 to March 28 and have obtained the necessary visa also.

My previous passport which has the ECNR not required stamp is attached to my new passport since it has a valid US visa. The two passports held prior to this also have the 'ECNR stamp not required' stamped.

In view of my travel in two weeks time, I would like to know if I am
permitted to travel with all my previous passports attached to the new passport which does not bear the necessary ECNR stamp or it is
necessary that I obtain this on the new passport. How many days will it
take to get the same. I am a post graduate and have my degree certificates.

In new passports, no stamp means ECNR.

Anyway, that is not required for UK or USA.
