Hello,
My mother is a US Citizen living in India and she needs to get her visa renewed. We wanted to get an OCI for her.
She is coming to the US in Oct and we have 2 options:
1)Apply in India now
2)Apply in Houston when she gets here.
Does anyone know if she has to go to pick up her passport herself or can it be mailed back to us? Also, is the rule different in India than in the US? We would like to have her avoid travel as much as possible.
