Hi,
I am here on L1 and my wife is here on L2.We both are Indian citizens. My wife delivered the kid on 28th April. We got the kid's SSN, Birth certificate and passpot. Me and my wife may be going back to India next month.
I want to know should we apply for PIO card or OCI card. Is my kid eligible for OCI card. OCI card is what, is that a dual citizenship?
I know about PIO card that my kid can stay with me for 15 years in India and we can further renew the PIO for 10 more years. Here my kid cannot vote and own the property.
Please reply me in detail. I have gone through the OCI vs PIO comparison on Immihelp . But I am still confuse as to my kid is eligible for OCI or not.
