Indian visa expired, but PIO obtained later

Hi,
My US born baby had to leave the US urgently and we applied for a Indian visa as well as a PIO card.

We got the visa earlier and she traveled to India. The visa is due to expire next month and I also have her PIO card with me in the US.

Does the visa count - since she entered on the visa - or does the PIO.

Appreciate any advice with this.

The entry stamp in my US passport when I entered this year via my PIO card is the same as the one when I entered last year on an Employment visa. You should be OK if she exits India on the PIO card as long as it's in her possession when she goes through immigration.
