Dear Sir,

I would be grateful if you could help me .I am an Indian national currently in the UK on HSMP visa and am due for indefinite leave to remain very soon.My wife who is a Bangladeshi citizen is currently with me in the uk on my HSMP dependant visa.

If I do get an OCI at some point, what will happen to my wife's application status ,since the website says bangladeshi nationals are excluded.

I would be very graetful if you could answer my query.

Bangaldeshis are not eligible for OCI.

Whether the person gets OCI or not, does not impact the person's status in the UK.

Therefore, I am not sure why you are even asking that kind of question.
