Could you pls elaborate further on the question of consular access under PIO and OCI?
Have been given to understand that a PIO has full consular access and wouldenjoy all benefits given to a foreign national of that country, including in the event of an evacuation being ordered by that country of it
nationals. This however will not be provided to OCI as the foreign embassy/consulate will take the view that the person is a citizen of India.
Can you pls comment?
