Dear Sir,
I am Indian born,have made an online registration for OCI on 5/22/2009 for my whole family of 5members.I submitted my application with that of my husband ( Mauritian by birth to Indian parents) & my daughter ,to Indian Embassy few days later.I had to give up my Indian Passport in 1988 for Mauritian Citizenship.
I have produced all necessary documents required. I was asked for my school leaving certificate, & passport copies of my brother & mother as proof of my family in Bombay.
I got a call a month later from the Embassy saying that the OCI for my husband is approved & mine (Indian by birth )is still on hold. I am unable to track my OCI from here.I do hope you can help me get it so that I can submit that of my children , studying in the United States & working in Uganda at present.
