Fraud Immigration consultant "Syed Sameer - Dreams n visions" in bangalore

Hi This is Ganesh, I am one of the victims for the consultant's trap. There is a consultant named "Dreams-n-visions" in
bangalore(near BEL circle), INDIA. The proprietor name is Syed Sameer. The website is designed in such way that every one should get attracted to that. He also has business and banking partners (All the big bankers in India).

Here comes the fraudness of the firm. The owner is very talented. He cheats people with his nice words.
Actually myself and one of my friends aproached him to know about the opportunity to work at overseas.
He told it is not a big problem if you have all GENUINE certificates and experience. He mostly deals with jobs in
Canada, Australia, Singapore and Malasia etc. After that he told you have to pay part(half comes around 70K - 80K) of
the money now and the remaining once you get the job, you can pay it in first 3 months. He will give firm's stamped paper
with the agreement noted on that saying if in 3 months he could not able to process VISA and get your job then he will
hold 10K (as processing fee) and pay the remaining amount(Which you would never get back). He will also tell that the offer letter from the abroad company comes directly to your house. he will ask all kind of documents that is required for any VISA and gets to know the updates on each of the countries Immigration process.

We liked the deal and thought of initiating process through him. Before that we googled about the firm whether it is fraud consutant (or) not. we did not find his firm in the results list. We do found some other firms.
(*Note:- Please search for the consultant's/Firm's back ground before paying or approaching a consultant for any kind of
job). Since he was not in the fraud list so we thought we can approach him and we get the work done.

First he asked us to submit atleast 25K-50K as first installment. He will give stamped agreement for this. For all the later payments he will give you the receipts. When ever he wants you to ask money he will update something on your visa status to you and make you feel that everything is going fine and ask for the money. This way he keep on updating you on some status and asks for money until he receives the full amount (The first payment). Sometimes if you keep on giving he may even asks more than the limit what you had agreed for. He will also give some **** personal id created himself saying that it is the client's personal Id. Send all your documents to that Id. Once you send all the document. You would never get any reply from that mail (because it is created by him to fool people).

Till he gets the money from you he will picks up any call from you and answers for the call. Later once he gets what he wanted from you, then he never picks your call or reply to any of your mails. You keep waiting for the person's (sameer's) reply.

You can complain to DOL with all the proofs to the wages and hour division

You will have to send the form to the exact labor department office falling under your companies district. Sometimes labor department is little slow in handling cases, so you can do a followup about your complaint.

Please make a copy of the complaint you submit using the wh-4 form
and sent it by registered post (FedEx or DHL or UPS ) will do.
Submit as much information as possible.

You have to do regular followups with the above link i had given since DOL is not smart enough to take up the case quickly. There are some issues with DOL..most of the time there inquiry will complete only in one year to two year time period. If proved fraudulent company will be penalized. All this you can do from India itself.

I know cases with DOL where they don't do proper timely action, For example even if you point to direct violation about the employer they keep mum and this help employer to engage in further violations. Even i know cases where it was very clear that the employer was not having a proper LCA for the job , for several employees and even after naming the employees in bench without pay DOL didnt take any immediate action which they should do if they are keen on enforcing the law.

Anyway something is better than nothing. You should definitely file the complaint with DOL. Also notice that if you are from India , Overseas affairs ministry of India is also having mechanism to trap fraudulent employers.
