Passport Renewal documents while PERM in process

Hello Friends,

One of the requirements for passport renewal at Indian embassy , NY is -

In case application for Green Card or EAC or Visa is pending/being processed, a copy of documents in support of this fact must be deposited.

Do I need to submit anything even when PERM is in process?
If yes, which documents should I submit?

PERm is not green card. That is just a labor. No document needs to be sent for that other than your current status document which would be your I-94/I797.
