My 5 year old son has PIO card. After he got his new US passport, we have sent PIO card (almost 3 weeks back) for endorsment of the new passport. But there is no trace of PIO card. Post office can not track it and newyork indian consulate says they did not recieve it.
The travel to India is 1 week away. What are our options? PIO card replacement will take longer than that. I was thinking of Tourist visa for him through Travisa Outsourcing. Since i want to drop off and pick it up on the same day, i am looking for reservation and no timeslots are available till end of next week (too late for the travel).
Can i just go there and drop in, although their website says no reservations (appointment) available for dropoff? I am currently cluelss and any prompt information would be appreciated.
