Conversion of Tourist Visa into Entry type Visa(X ) from India(Bangalore)

Hello Friends,

I am in India and trying to apply for PIO for my US born daughter who is on Tourist Visa in India.. I was directed by the officials that I need to convert my daughter's Visa from Tourist Visa to Entry Type Visa for processing PIO card application.. However I am not sure of the process to apply for conversion and the documentation required for the same.. Can you advise me on this pls ?
