Indian passport renewal at chicago...help needed

I am planning to apply for passport renewal at chicago and i was wondering if anybody can share their experience about the processing time for passport renewal at chicago. In a month i am going to india and i was wondering if 30 days is enough time to get the passport renewed at chicago. Valuable comments about their experience is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
