New Born Child - OCI

Hi,

I'm an OCI card holder currently living in India. I was blessed with a child in India and I've applied for the foreign passport (Seychelles) at the concerned embassy.
After getting the passport, may I apply for an OCI card for my kid or do I need to get any Visa prior applying OCI?
