OCI U sticker

Hi,
I am planning to apply OCI for my son. I read that he will get OCI sticker in his U.S.passport on OCI approval. My questions are as follows.

1. If I renew my son's U.S. passport, do I have to renew the OCI also to get the new sticker / stamp in his new U.S. passport ?

2. If I don't get the new sticker/stamp in his new passport, can he still travel to India with his old and new U.S. passport ? will this case any issues in immigration checkpoint ?

3. How long will it take to get the OCI sticker in his new passport ? Do I have to reapply for OCI again ?

1. You don't have to do that.

2. Yes, you carry both passports. No issues.

You don't have to apply for OCI again. You just apply for OCI Misc services.
