First of all congrats to your team for making such a user friendly site.
My query is about ECNR for my mother. My father works in Libya and and is going to take my mother on a spouse (non working) visa to Libya within a week. My mothers' passport was issued in Lucknow in 2008 ( the earlier one had got expired) but has ECR stamped on it.
As per the clause of ECR/ECNR, no clearance is required for Libya if the person is travelling for purpose other than work.An additional info is that my mother had stayed with my father for about 15 years in Libya before coming back to India for about 5 years.
She has to go within a week and our residence is in Allahabad. Does she still need to get an ECNR or a translated copy of visa (stating non work visa which my father has brought with himself ) will do .
Request you to kindly revert as i dont want my parents to suffer any inconvenience at the Delhi airport.
