Passport Renewal

Hello Sir / Madam;

How are you doing I hope you are fine and doing great. I am currently in USA and my passport will expire in 2010.In this regard I would like to apply for renewal of passport.In this regard I have a query I have a valid driving license but I am currently staying with my hispanic friend. He has given to me a rent agreement it is a small document of one page that specifies him as a landlord and myself as tenant. Will that can be submitted as a valid address proof besides Driving license.
