OCI Chicago photograph specifications

Hi, I am applying to OCI through Chicago. The Chicago consulate's website has different specifications for photographs than the Home Ministry website and different from what the application form states. For example, Chicago requires 5 photographs, 3.5cm by 3.5cm, non-white background, while the home ministry website and also the forms themselves ask for 51mm by 51mm photographs (some state that it should even be on white or off-white background). Which specifications should be followed?

Also what proof is needed if there is a name change due to marriage? Is marriage certificate enough?

Hi,
I called the Chicago OCI office regarding the photograph confusion between 35 mm and 51 mm and here is what they told me:

Both the 51mm x 51mm (2" by 2") OR the 31mm by 31mm are acceptable. If 2" x 2" is sent, it must match the description in the forms and on the home ministry website. If it is the 35mm by 35mm, it must match description in the individual consulate websites. Thanks.
