I just got my children's OCI cards re-issued for new US passports and the whole process, including the mailing time, took exactly 8 business days with New York CGI.
Apr 22 - 8AM - Dropped the documents in FedEx from Ohio
May 1 - Got the Re issued OCI cards delivered by FedEx.
As for the documents, I sent everything in the document checklist and also copies of parents US passports, even though the document checklist says only needed for non-US citizen parents. Very misleading. I was specifically told to include these in a Visa camp I attended on Apr 20th, by a consulate officer. I also included the payment receipt copy.
