Myself and my wife are both citizens of India, and staying in US on L-1A/L2 visas respectively. We had our son born in US, and have US passport.
I am currently going through a Visa extension and hence getting a OCI is not a valid option at this time, until I get my petition end extended.
I do have travel plans before this and would like to know what is the best route to take, to bring my son to India. Period of stay will be 3-5 months.
I am planning to apply for a Visa ( need to determine how ) and travel to India and see if I can apply for an OCI from India.
Is this right? Are there better options.
