Indian Passport Renewal , L1B case

Hi,

I am on L1B visa in USA and need to get my passport renewed. As per the CKGS list of documents , I need to provide colored notarized copy of I-797 for legal US status. My L1B blanket visa , I do have I-797 but that is not a colored copy and also it does not have my details on it. It has my employer's details. I do have I-129S original copy but that is not listed on CKGS website.

Can any one please suggest, what document I can provide as a legal US status?

Any luck? I am in the same situation. I asked a color copy of the I797 from my employer but they’re saying that the original I-797 for blanket petitions is black & white only. Can anyone please confirm this?

Hi Guys , did you get any informtion on this? Can we send I-129s instead of I-797? Ckgs call centers are not working .
