Apply OCI from India

Hello,

If I don't have 90 days Indian visa and I have to extend my stay in India for my US born kid what are my options?
The scenario is we are expecting a baby in last week of December and our h1b visa expiry date is Feb 11 2020 (max out) , I am afraid I will not be able to apply e-visa for my unborn kid in this timeframe and if we apply on arrival visa we get only 30 days. In this case what are my options should I move back to India immediately or have a baby in US?

Here is my suggestion

Just go there and get it done. You can extend the visa here --> https://indianfrro.gov.in/eservices/home.jsp or a local FRRO. Google it to find what is FRRO in India. You will be an expert when you are done with all these and please come back and help others.

Before you leave, try to complete an OCI application to figure out what originals/documents you will need. Good luck!
