I read somewhere that if you apply Indian passport exactly 12 months before it expires, then it takes a long time? Mine is expiring at the end of November. I am planning to apply for the new passport in the first week of December. Will it cause any delay in receiving the new passport. I would appreciate if anyone who in the past have renewed their passport 12 months before expiry can share their experience. thanks!
