Oci reissue part b question 2

I am applying for renewing my sons oci card from India

In part B question 2 of application

"Have you surrendered/got your previous Overseas Citizen of India card cancelled. If yes please mention number and date of previous Overseas Citizen of India card"

This is the second renewal.
Does it refer to the old card(don't remember number )
Or something else.
