Indian tourist visa query

My daughter is born in usa and got her 10yrs indian tourist visa.
visa expiry date is 19Aug2019.
She went to india on 6dec09.
Now does she requires to extend her stay if she stay more than 6 months in India for the day she arrived in India?
If yes how to do it?
Or should i call her before 6 Jun10 ( before 6 months is over)?

Yes, if staying in India for more than 180 days, your daughter should be registered with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).

"Registration facilities are not provided at the airport and are carried out in the office of FRROs or District Superintendents of Police (FROs)"

In Vadodara-Gujarat, we used to get ourselves register at the FRRO situated in the building where the City Police Commissioner used to sit. So depending in what type of city your daughter is - big or small - the FRRO is usually located in the building where the top guns of police have their offices.
