Hi,
I applied for my passport renewal at Indian embassy, Houston. It was renewed for 1 year instead of 10 years. It is hard to contact and communicate with people in the embassy. I was told that since my visa is going to expire in little over one year, they can't renew passport for more than a year. Is that the way it is? My understanding is visa has nothing to do with passport to my home country. Could some one explain
