Passport renewal status update time at NY consulate

Hi everyone!
I mailed my passport renewal application and it reached the consulate yesterday. I don't see any updates on the CKGS tracker in "my account". Typically how long does it take after delivery for the tracker to become active or at least show that they've received your old passport and documents for renewal?

With Covid, things are slow @CKGS as well. You should get the passport in 3-4 weeks if your documentation is all good. My friend recently experienced the same and it took him 4 weeks to get his passport delivered to home address.

I would agree.... 3-4 weeks since the passports are printed in the USA itself (if all documentation is good)
Only OCI cards are printed in India and sent to the US
